The Karlsruhe Games Provider Issues Additional 3,000 Euros Bonuses as a Tax-Free Inflation Compensation
The Karlsruhe games provider Gameforge — an online games publisher and developer of popular titles such as AION, NosTale, Metin2, Swords of Legends Online, and OGame — announced today that it will pay all its permanent employees a special year-end additional bonus of 3,000 Euros with their November salary.
Gameforge AG will issue approximately one million Euros to accommodate each bonus distributed to its over 300 employees.“Another extremely successful year is coming to an end for our company – this success was achieved by our teams, who did an excellent job. We would like to recognize the commitment and the willingness to perform by relieving our employees of the worries about additional energy cost payments,” says Alexander Rösner, founder and CEO of the company.
Gameforge launched a new in-house development studio in 2022 and released a range of new games — including the company’s first single-player offerings: space roguelike Trigon: Space Story and twin-stick shooter I See Red — to the mobile version of OGame and continues to run classics like AION or Metin2 successfully. Gameforge currently employs over 300 people at the Karlsruhe location and has more than a dozen vacancies.
