Client Call Agendas & Recaps
Draft bi-weekly client call agendas for PR Account Manager review ahead of scheduled calls, and prepare post-call recap notes for PR Specialist review and distribution. Update Asana task details with any relevant call notes or follow-up items after each meeting.
Campaign Asset & Folder Setup
At the start of new client engagements, set up all required Google Drive folder structures, internal key tracking sheets, and review request forms per agency SOPs, ensuring everything is organized, accurately labeled, and accessible to the full team.
Press Release Distribution Support
Submit finalized press releases to Games Press following each distribution, and provide the final Mailchimp preview link to the designated web team contact for press release website uploads.
Exclusive & Review Cycle Support
Create embargoed press kit folders for exclusive pitching campaigns, ensuring all assets and draft materials are organized and ready for the team before outreach begins.
List Building Support
Contribute to pitch list research and development by building out contact information and outlet details to support the PR Specialist's ongoing list development.
Asana & SOP Adherence
Use Asana to complete, update, and track all assigned tasks across active client accounts. Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant agency SOPs and follow established processes consistently and accurately.

Pitch List Development
Build and continuously develop targeted pitch lists for each assigned client, identifying the right outlets and contacts for each campaign type. Maintain list accuracy and relevance as coverage priorities shift throughout the project.
Editor Outreach & Coordination
Execute pitch sendouts across relevant outreach tools and manage all follow-up communications with editors. Coordinate interview scheduling with journalists and client contacts, and manage all logistics tied to securing coverage placements across exclusive, feature, and review cycles.
Preview & Review Cycle Execution
Own the execution of preview and review cycles, including vetting key requests against the internal tracking sheet, preparing recipient lists for Mailshake campaigns, setting up and testing Mailshake distributions, and scheduling follow-up outreach. Ensure all merge tags and distribution details are accurate before handoff to the PR Account Manager for final approval and send.
Awards Research & Submissions
Research relevant award opportunities and develop recommendations for clients. Collect submission requirements, write game pitches, gather necessary details for submissions, and support jury pitching follow-up as needed.
Coveragebook & Offboarding Reports
Build the Coveragebook campaign wrap report at the conclusion of client engagements, including compiling coverage, setting up the custom metrics and highlights, and drafting the executive summary. Create the accompanying summary slide for PR Account Manager review.
Weekly Activity Reports
Review and add to the weekly client activity report drafted by the PR Coordinator, ensuring all relevant campaign updates, coverage notes, and upcoming activities are accurately reflected before the PR Account Manager's final review.
Coverage Communication
Send 24-hour and week-one coverage recaps to clients following major outreach, ensuring all results are clearly communicated, and any high-priority coverage is flagged appropriately.
Onboarding Setup
Complete assigned onboarding tasks at the start of each new client engagement, including setting up the client's Google Drive folder structure, coverage tracking sheet, pitch list, Coveragebook profile, and PressEngine account where applicable.
Social Media Coordination
Submit social media requests to support press release and media alert outreach per the agency's established request process, ensuring timing and embargo details are clearly communicated.
Asana & SOP Adherence
Use Asana to manage and track all assigned tasks across active client accounts. Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant agency SOPs and flag any process gaps or improvement opportunities to the PR Account Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field, with direct experience executing PR campaigns within an agency setting strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to write compelling press materials, including press releases, media pitches, and editorial copy, across a range of brand voices and tones.
- Experience managing media outreach and editor relationships, including pitch sendouts, follow-ups, and interview coordination.
- Familiarity with Mailshake or similar outreach tools, and comfort managing key distribution and review cycle logistics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines across active client accounts without losing accuracy or quality.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Publishing
Own the end-to-end publishing workflow across all assigned client accounts, including:
- Developing overarching social media strategies with clearly defined goals, content pillars, and KPIs, and driving those strategies forward without waiting to be directed
- Building and managing monthly content calendars for each client, aligned with product pipelines and campaign schedules, and keeping them current as priorities shift
- Writing compelling, on-brand social media copy across a range of tones and brand voices with minimal supervision
- Creating and preparing social media assets for publishing, including sourcing and coordinating client-provided images, video, and UGC, as well as independently producing graphics, simple edits, crops, and formatted visuals using Canva or similar tools
- Publishing content across short-form static platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, Bluesky, and Threads) and short-form video platforms (TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts), coordinating with clients for assets and approvals
- Maintaining a consistent publishing cadence that supports audience growth without creating fatigue
- Identifying and implementing current and emerging platform trends to keep content fresh and relevant, and proactively bringing those recommendations to clients
Community Engagement and Management
Serve as the primary community point of contact for assigned clients, taking full ownership of day-to-day community health, including:
- Monitoring and responding to inbound comments, replies, mentions, and discussions across all supported platforms during agreed business hours, in alignment with each client's brand tone and escalation guidelines
- Managing and maintaining Discord servers end-to-end, including channel structure, roles and permissions, moderation guidelines, and ongoing community support
- Engaging community members proactively, with particular attention to transparency and empathy around delays, updates, or community concerns
- Developing and implementing community engagement initiatives, including support for ambassador programs and other scalable engagement structures
- Routing customer service inquiries that arrive via social or community channels to the appropriate client contacts without prompting
- Relaying community feedback, recurring themes, and emerging concerns to internal and client stakeholders in a timely, well-organized manner
Sentiment Tracking and Social Listening
Own a structured listening framework to monitor brand perception across platforms, including:
- Tracking discussions across X, Bluesky, Reddit, Discord, and other relevant channels to identify recurring themes, pain points, and positive community signals
- Leveraging available tools to capture broader conversation trends
- Translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations and delivering them to clients and internal stakeholders without being asked
Reporting and Analytics
Track performance across all assigned accounts and communicate results clearly and consistently, including:
- Delivering monthly reports for each client covering key social and community KPIs such as net follower growth, engagement rate, impressions, reach, Discord new members, and Discord weekly communicators
- Analyzing best and worst performing content and proactively making data-driven recommendations without waiting for client prompts
- Continuously refining content and engagement strategies as channels develop and grow
Internal Agency Support
Alongside client work, contribute to UberStrategist's internal social media and community needs, including:
- Providing social media and community strategy input for agency proposals as needed
- Creating social content for client-specific promotional posts, team announcements, and agency brand storytelling, and managing publishing across agency social channels
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of directly relevant experience in social media management and community management, with a portfolio that demonstrates work across multiple concurrent client accounts
- Proven experience supporting gaming clients spanning indie to AAA studios, with a track record of healthy community growth and strong content performance
- Experience in the video game industry is required; candidates who have worked at a studio, publisher, or games-focused agency are strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to write engaging, platform-appropriate copy across a range of brand voices and tones
- Hands-on experience managing and moderating Discord servers, including channel architecture, role setup, and moderation oversight
