SHADOW’s Services Also Expand: Available September 15 in Canada and Austria; Open to more European Territories this Fall
Last May, cloud-computing specialist SHADOW unveiled new products and announced the highly anticipated new Power Upgrade for its cloud gaming and productivity service. Now, it’s time to unveil more about this addition, unleashing greater computing power for its users and allowing them to create and play in the best way possible. Shadow’s Power Upgrade will be generally available October 26 for $14.99€* per month, in addition to the Shadow cloud-computing subscription, still available for $29.99€*.
Ahead of general availability, users who expressed their interest via a dedicated form last May can pre-order the Power Upgrade starting September 20. Representatives will reach out by email to guarantee their October 26 access. Shadow expects demand to exceed the number of slots available at launch and encourages users to closely watch their inbox on September 20!
The Power Upgrade will deploy in recurrent batches starting October 26, but no queue system will be in place; the Upgrade will simply appear available (or unavailable) on the SHADOW website depending on the current status for each region.
In preparation for this launch and to allow the most faithful users to test the Power Upgrade in advance, an Early Access version will be available in early October. This Early Access period will be offered at the discounted price of $9.99€* (versus $14.99€* for the general Power Upgrade), continuing even after the Power Upgrade’s general availability. During Early Access, Shadow will prioritize users who had previously pre-booked Ultra and Infinite, but were not able to access them, and contact them. - 16GB of RAM
SHADOW’s expansion: The service goes live September 15 in Canada and Austria, with further availability in Italy, Spain, Denmark and Sweden this fall.
SHADOW launches in two additional countries starting September 15: Canada and Austria. This includes SHADOW’s consumer-oriented cloud-computing service, including the upcoming Power Upgrade when available on October 26th, as well as Shadow Business Solutions designed for professionals. Users in Canada can find out if their connection is eligible for Shadow via a dedicated landing page, available before launch.
And the work goes on! SHADOW teams are currently developing the expansion of its services in new countries in the coming months. Next market openings are Italy, Spain, Denmark, and Sweden, coming this fall. The exact availability dates for each market are to be announced in the coming weeks.
