Today, entertainment company Cream Productions and Les Stroud Productions Inc. announce that their immersive VR survival game Survivorman VR: The Descent is now available on Meta Quest 2 and 3.
Based on the highly popular TV show Survivorman which ran for 14 years, Survivorman VR: The Descent is an authentic survival simulator that teaches players how to brave the perils of wilderness survival in an Arctic setting. Along with its Meta Quest launch, Cream and LSPInc are excited to announce their new partnership with games distributor VRKiwi to co-publish Survivorman VR: The Descent on PCVR and PlayStation VR2 in early 2024.

In Survivorman VR: The Descent, would-be survivalists find themselves stranded on top of a treacherous mountain after narrowly escaping a helicopter crash in the Canadian Arctic. Lost, alone, and with only their wits to count on, players need to find their way to safety before they freeze or fall to death, or worse…! Luckily for them, Les Stroud appears as a vision to guide their way and to teach them the true ropes of wilderness survival.In a solid test of endurance, intellect, and skills, players face a myriad of challenges inspired by real-life survival ordeals faced by Les Stroud himself. Under his watchful eye, they learn to navigate icy ravines, craft hunting traps, and, most importantly, keep the fire burning!
