We’re looking for someone with a minimum of four years of video game specific PR experience working within either an agency, studio, or publisher and leading all aspects of a pr campaign - from strategy through execution. Job Title: PR Account Manager
Department: Client Services

Job Summary
The Public Relations (PR) Account Manager leads client accounts by developing PR timelines, devising strategies, managing deliverables, and ensuring exceptional results to maintain client satisfaction. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and tactical execution across multiple client accounts, with strong project management and client service acumen. The PR Account Manager is also responsible for continually developing the PR practice within the agency. This involves exploring and implementing best practices and changing trends within the practice and industry when and where it makes sense. This is done in coordination and collaboration with the other PR account managers on the team and our Director of Client Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communications with assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met, and results align with or exceed expectations.
- Project Management: Utilize project management tools to delegate tasks effectively to your account teams, ensuring consistency and quality of work across all projects.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement creative and effective PR plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, constraints, and the competitive landscape.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling pitches, press releases, media alerts, and executive reports; mentor junior staff in these areas.
- Media Relations: Maintain and build positive relationships with key media outlets and influencers; possess an extensive list of press contacts.
- Crisis Communication: Lead or assist in managing crisis communication efforts, ensuring clear, strategic responses.
- Budget Management: Balance client project budgets to avoid over-servicing or under-servicing clients based on the statement of work.
- Mentoring Junior Team Members: Responsible for mentoring our junior team members, educating them on PR best practices and ongoing trends, and helping them build the skills needed to excel in the practice and industry.
- Ongoing Development of PR Services and Processes: Responsible for keeping a thumb on the pulse of what’s happening in the industry and greater PR practice to ensure we are implementing best practices with our existing services, identifying additional services we can offer, and fine-tuning existing processes to increase overall efficiency across the service vertical.
- Event Support: Booking press appointments for events, acting as a spokesperson for clients, providing media training, and staffing booths, events, or hospitality suites, with domestic and international travel as needed.
- Remote Work: Manage time effectively in a remote work environment, being available during key hours for client meetings and team engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a PR account leadership role, with a strong track record of successfully leading and managing multiple client accounts concurrently. Experience in video game PR is a must. Multiple areas of PR specialization, including technology, B2B and thought leadership, entertainment, or tabletop gaming, is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Proactive communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan proactively and execute tactically.
- Strong understanding of media-publicist-client relationships.
- Comfortable working with various technology tools.
- Experience in crisis communication is highly desirable.
- Able to travel for client meetings and events as required, including internationally.
- Education: A degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of video games, pop culture, comics, entertainment, and emerging trends is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supporting PR campaigns for gaming or tech clients.
- Understanding of public relations tools such as Meltwater or CoverageBook.

Job Summary
The Bookkeeper at ÜberStrategist plays a critical role in maintaining the agency's financial health and integrity. This position is responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, processing payroll, and supporting budget tracking. Working closely with the CEO and external accounting teams, the Bookkeeper ensures accurate, timely, and organized financial records that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing clients, processing vendor payments, and following up on past due invoices with clients.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and financial account reconciliations.
- Track and categorize business expenses accurately using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online).
- Maintain and update financial records and general ledger entries.
- Prepare regular financial reports and summaries for internal leadership review.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly budget tracking and forecasting.
- Process payroll in coordination with HR and ensure accurate benefit and tax reporting.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation for all financial transactions and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with external accountants for quarterly tax payments, annual filings, and audits.
