Challenges & Goals

Attract Mode Agency enlisted UberStrategist to support the global launch of Songs of Silence, a fantasy strategy game developed by Chimera Entertainment. While the title already had a presence in Germany, our role was to boost visibility in international markets.

A key challenge was the compressed timeline—we joined the project just a week before the release date announcement and only a month before the launch. Despite this, the goal was to secure meaningful review coverage and elevate the game’s presence in top-tier media.

Strategic Approach

With limited time, we prioritized pre-seeding key news, such as the release date and trailer, while simultaneously coordinating multiple rounds of review key outreach before and after launch. Our pitches targeted outlets with a history of covering strategy and fantasy titles, including top-tier reviewers from Metacritic and OpenCritic-tracked publications.

To sustain coverage momentum post-launch, we issued a content roadmap media alert and re-engaged press contacts who had previously received demo keys via PressEngine. We also worked to resolve technical issues tied to mislabeled keys to keep reviews on track and avoid delays.

Results

Despite the tight timeline, we secured more than 200 pieces of coverage, including a GameSpot exclusive and trailer placement. Major outlets featured the game, such as IGN, Sports Illustrated, Game Rant, GamesRadar+, PCGamesN, Adrenaline, PushSquare, Automaton, Bleeding Cool, Gematsu, Elotrolado, Eurogamer ES, Sector, and Xbox Achievements.

We secured 26 reviews during the launch review cycle, with additional reviews published after our engagement, achieving the client’s goal of generating significant review coverage. The campaign delivered the visibility and media interest needed in a tight window and helped position Songs of Silence for continued momentum post-launch.
