Resolution Games partnered with UberStrategist to support the PSVR 2 launch of Demeo, its award-winning tabletop-inspired dungeon crawler. Already acclaimed on PC and Oculus Quest, Demeo was an established title—and the challenge was to reignite media interest for its debut on a new platform.
Our goal was to generate strong review coverage, highlight the game’s crossplay features and fresh VR experience, and position Demeo as a standout title for the PSVR 2.
We positioned Demeo as a must-play title for PSVR 2. To differentiate it from other VR experiences, we focused on its award-winning reputation, unique tabletop-inspired gameplay, and crossplay functionality.
Our team prioritized outreach to outlets that had not previously reviewed Demeo while also targeting media with strong PSVR 2 coverage and interest in tabletop gaming. We provided early access, coordinated review logistics, and maintained regular follow-up to secure maximum interest ahead of the launch.
Our focused review campaign generated over 40 reviews from key gaming and VR outlets, helping establish Demeo as a leading PSVR 2 title. Coverage highlights included IGN, Eurogamer, Upload VR, GameSpot, Road to VR, Gamesvelt, Push Square, La Presse, SVG, Multiplayer.it, Bell of Lost Souls, and PSU.
Demeo earned strong review scores and a “very positive” Metacritic rating for its PSVR 2 debut. Our campaign successfully reintroduced the game to VR players and expanded its reach to a broader audience. The results reinforced Demeo’s position as a respected title across multiple VR platforms.
